The Beginning

A founder, an employee, a room, and a vision—this was the foundation of Brownfield Engineering Ltd. in 2009. With a customer who believed in our capabilities, we embarked on our journey under the name Brownfield Ltd., driven by a passion for engineering excellence.

Construction of 52.5 MW HFO Plant

Our expertise took a major leap forward with the successful construction of SINHA POWER GENERATION COMPANY LTD.’s 52.5 MW HFO Plant in Amnura, Chapainawabgonj, showcasing our ability to execute large-scale industrial projects.

FIRST RECOGNITION

We earned industry-wide recognition as a trusted construction vendor, working alongside Isolux Corsan for the construction of the Siddhirganj 335MW Combined Cycle Power Plant under EGCB. This milestone marked our entry into high-profile power infrastructure projects.

Multiple Plant Constructions

Continuing our growth, we successfully completed the 116 MW HFO power plant construction for ANLIMA ENERGY LTD. at Kolagong, Potiya, Chittagong. Additionally, we played a vital role in the construction of PARTEX PETRO LTD.’s Petrochemical Refinery Plant—a state-of-the-art facility completed within schedule, further driving industrial growth in Bangladesh.

Expanding with Global Partners

Brownfield Engineering Ltd. partnered with Toshiba, Japan to contribute to the construction of the Matarbari 2 x 600MW Ultra Supercritical Coal-Fired Power Plant, one of South Asia’s largest and most advanced power plants. Delivered on schedule, this project strengthened our portfolio and national energy security.

Collaborating with General Electric (GE), USA

Our expertise expanded further with our involvement in the Summit II Meghnaghat 587 MW Power Plant, a high-efficiency energy project completed on time to support the national grid. Simultaneously, we contributed to the Unique Meghnaghat 588 MW Power Plant, ensuring power stability through innovative construction methodologies.

Government Development Projects

Recognizing our credibility and excellence, Brownfield Engineering Ltd. entered into public sector projects, collaborating with Bangladesh Water Development Board for 100 Crore River Bank Protection Works. Additionally, we partnered with LGED for the 35 Crore Construction of Roads and Drains in Gazipur and Savar, reinforcing our role in national infrastructure development.

Entering the Real Estate Sector

Expanding our footprint, we launched Brownfield Design & Development Ltd., the real estate development arm of the Brownfield Group of Companies. Committed to delivering world-class real estate projects with unmatched precision, sustainability, and timely execution, this initiative marks a new chapter in our journey toward diversified growth.
